He's ranked 7th right now at 69.8, which is a good grade. He's been slipping week by week but anything above 65 is "good". 

Right now, "average" is 61.9 for centers.

Where's The Pistons?  We're going to need for him to give us some clarity on this matter..

Ratings are not based on the top player at the position being a 100. 100 is reserved for the elite of the elite.
The highest C is below 75 (74.9).
Only the top 6 C's have a rating above 70.0.

Fun fact: The highest rated single-season game from any player in PFF era was...Andrew Whitworth (Week 15 in 2010). 98.4 overall grade that game.

Hopkins overall is hurt by his pass block grade. He's only 18th there at 65.4 (with 5 guys over 80 and 15 guys over 70), while his run block grade is 2nd at 69.7
