I think the only solace in the Taylor hiring could be that the management here is just terribly inept. But, IF Taylor is calling the shots...we're doomed.
Also, part of that is that they bought the McVay hype and hired a HC that just isn't qualified. I don't know if any other NFL Teams would have even hired Taylor as their offensive coordinator...let alone HC.
For your sake, i hope you're right. If this team is healthy and they have a more mobile QB and they start looking like a decent team, with this coaching staff...you're going to have a shitload of posts to answer for.

There was nothing classless about benching an 0-8 QB, on top of 3 straight losing seasons. People who are worried about a 32 year old man's birthday are just being silly.

Last year with Taylor as QB coach, Goff had 4688 yards, 32 TD, 12 INT.
Goff did become better last year while Taylor was QB coach.
Now that Taylor is gone, Goff is having his worst season aside from his rookie year.
But that doesn't fit the narrative that wherever Taylor goes, things get worse, then when he leaves, they get better.
