It's just as likely that it's similar, but not exactly this; minimal stripes on the shoulder, number on front and back and that's about it.
I looked at the unimockups twitter and if the stripes are all on the top and extend a bit down into the jersey, i think that looks better but i can't see a completely blank lower sleeve.
I still don't like the number font, at all.

Go back and look at his tweet in post #4. "described to me".
If someone describes them as minimal, with stripes on the shoulder and a different number font, those and a lot of other variations are possible.
Could be them. Could be something like them.

What I do find odd about this alleged reveal, however, is that they apparently made a jersey for AJ Green, who is an unrestricted free agent and may never wear the new Bengals jersey.

I am not a big fan. They almost look like some knock-off they sell at Walmart of K-Mart.
I think it's the varying fonts and inconsistent bordering that turn me away.
For example, I don't like how the word "Bengals" is one color with no border but the number is white with a border.
I would have preferred block lettering (like on color rush or practice jerseys) and the "Bengals" match the same color scheme as the numbering.
I guess the stripes look ok on the shoulders though, and I'm happy the dumb side stripe on the black jersey is gone.
I'm assuming the orange is the new away jersey and black is the home, with the color rush being the alternate jersey.
These new jerseys might look better when people are wearing them, but they don't look very appealing on a hanger.

I know the tweet you're referencing, I am just explaining where I am getting the "confidently saying they are it". When someone says "I hope these aren't it" and he says "That is them", it comes across as if he is absolutely sure that they are it. It very well could not be them, but he is sure talking like they are and he has information on what they look like.

Yeah, I saw that tweet. However, I don't agree that someone saying "That's them" is not confirmation. That is what I am saying. He was talking pretty confidently that these are it. They very well could not be, but when someone responds saying "Yeah, that's them", to me that is a confirmation. It isn't unrealistic to think he might have some information we don't.
Either way, we will see.

The only problem with him being absolutely sure, is that he's not on the inside and actually seeing them. He's saying 'how they were described' to him. So the discription could be spot on, while they could be different in reality since he's never actually seen them.

Completely fair. I will say, if these are it, they have grown on me a bit after seeing people put them on players. These wouldn't look so bad all kitted up.

If that is the jersey, the players should be pissed. They get a good chunk of jersey sales. I, for one, can guarantee I will never buy one of those monstrosities. Burrow could lead the team to consecutive Super Bowl victories over the next 10 years wearing this, I would not buy it.
When teams design uniforms, they take them to focus groups for feedback. I can't imagine any group having a majority of its participants saying this was a good idea. And if one did, I can't imagine how bad the other candidates looked for this to get the approval...
