He only had 3 against Detroit, and we blew them out. Drew Sample is a bum. I don’t see him making plays. Dalton seemed to favor Green even when he was triple covered, meaning each time he let go of the ball you, the viewer, had no idea if the person he was targeting was open or if Dalton was just throwing caution to the wind and hoping Green beat his man. I think this is a really good take. But it's not just Burrow I think Zac is trying to focus too much on Chase. Obviously like you said he has some amazing down the field skills but where throwing screens to him handing the ball off to him with results that are not very good. Can't discount the INT as not being an issue, but dude has still played pretty well for the most part this season. I'd agree. Burrow definitely isn't the biggest issue on the team. But his lows this season have been concerning and game-changing, which is a worry. But he'll hopefully iron these sorts of games out in year 3, 4 and on. RE: Burrow's decision making has been terrible - Emeritus - 11-09-2021 This is more so about getting pounded into the ground when you drop back. It disrupts timing and the normal completions become int's. I truly believe Joe is a top five quarterback "Right Now" but the offensive line needs to play better. Well the play calling is a whole different thread but Zac needs to be better with situational football. I've said it too many times that when the schedule comes out factor in that Zac will costs you two games. |
