How many other HC’s continue to call the same plays that get your franchise QB hurt? Yep! We are WAY out of whack between run and pass. Add in being in shotgun almost all the time and our age old issue of tipping the play by the formation and NO OL will succeed in that environment - they are set up to fail. They NEED to run more and NEED to be under center more and as this is a power line they NEED to lean into the power concepts. As bad as we feel now this offense embarrassed San Francisco just three weeks ago by going under center, running power and more left than right and game planning to exploit the tendency of the San Francisco DL to jet up the field. That's something else we rarely do - exploit the tendencies of the opposing defense. |
