If I were the Vikings and the draft fell this way, I would wait until the 2nd pick at the earliest to draft a QB.
I'd pick the best player available at this pick.
I'd go with the top corner, top DT, or the best edge available.
I'll say Quinyon Mitchell.

Glad I don't have to choose in real life. Tough spot, because I'd want to pass on Penix and Nix but they need a QB real bad and if either end up being good you'd get massacred. I'd go Verse if I was them

Big money Hockenson and soon to be big money Jefferson. Catching passes from Sam Darnold? I'm doubting it. They are hoping to get a QB no doubt. I haven't done much QB research. But I think Penix and Nix are both going to be older rookies who have a ton of college experience. I think I like Penix more.
So I say they go Penix and they hope to get the Penix who played vs Texas in the playoffs and not the Penix that played vs Michigan in the playoffs.

I tend to agree with you on the Vikings jumping up to 4. If the first 3 picks are qbs, which I think will be the case, Arizona will be jumping for joy at the offers that come in
