As usual the Twitter ******** are saying “Oh it’s so bad he won’t ever play for us again” Without actually coming out with any kind of information all just rumours.

If he’s ****** up and not paid his rent yeah it’s a stupid move but hardly worth saying he should never play for us again.

Got to be more to this.

At least Jermaine has managed to stay out of jail.

Chris Henry was a weapon the second he stepped onto the field.  Burton? Meh.

I'm not going to spread social media rumors....but if what I read is true, it makes a lot of sense. It's not anything terrible, but it's a part of a pattern he's already established. The coaches had no choice but to hold him accountable if what I read is true.

Our superfans looking for clout and wannabe insiders on twitter are WAY too much.

What makes this pick more of a headscratcher than it was previously, is weren't we told that under the Zac Taylor regime they were only looking for high character guys, teams captains and such? I mean, I'd have trouble hiring this guy to walk my dog.

At least the team has moved away from this type being the norm.

Agreed. I posted a video with some rumor attached to it once this year. I'm not going to spread anything unsubstantiated again. That being said, has anyone heard about Rankins having meningitis?

Mixon also had some character issues but we gave him a chance to redeem himself.

Jermaine Burton not going to Pittsburgh? Not likely heading to Canton, either...

It’s genuinely embarrassing I’ve muted most of them but the annoying pricks still find their way to my TL.

There’s a German kid on there don’t think he’s even once attempted to fly to Cincy and constantly typed that much shit it was cathartic to block him LOL

We really do have so many fans who care more about their own imagine and their standing with the team than speaking actual facts.

It’s why I stuck around on here if we are shit we all say it instead of worrying about fan of the year.

I would like to know if Mike Brown is responsible for this disastrous pick.   I could understand it if it was Mike.   If not, whoever thought this was a good idea needs to find a new job.

Dumber than a bag of hammers.

I’ve also had to unfollow a bunch of them at this point. Stick with Joe Goodberry and Mike Santagana (bengals_sans). Those two put out the best Bengals content, imo.

Did you not see Zac’s reaction when they drafted him? I’d say it’s a safe assumption he himself wanted Burton pretty badly.

High risk vs high reward pick. Didn't really have a problem with the pick at the time but it looks like we got burned.

Yep, I think he was happy to get a potential talent in that round....but it does reek a little of a Mike Brown influence. Hard to say with this organization. Could be both, could be Zac on his own.

Even more of an implication on the scouting crew to not have known that this kid is likely developmentally disabled.  Mellow

That comes with a lack of scouting. Let's assume it was Zac. What do you think he had time to do .....watch tape, or actively scout his games, look how he acts on the sidelines, watch him in practice, talk to coaches, etc. Zac, Marvin, whoever, doesn't have time to get in depth with scouting college players AND run a NFL franchise. Even if it was Zac's choice, this is more of an indictment on our "scouting department" than anything else.
