True, but even if it was every coach on the team, they went to the player that was down. They didn't go start running their mouths to the steeler players in the area in an attempt to start a fight. Y'all *do* know that Porter was with AB up and until they started to walk off the field, right? Then Burfict tried to say "something" to AB and the Steelers taining guy shoved him away...and THAT is when Porter said "something" to Burfict. Then he gets chest bumped from behind and shuts his mouth while the Bengals get around HIM. Then, while the officials are pushing everyone back and NOT calling a foul Jones thinks Porter threw a drink on him and tried to go through an official to get at him. Penalty. FG. Game. Y'all know that...right? 'Cause it is all on the video. Not just made up in some homes fevered imagination like most of the stuff in this thread. RE: Rule 14 Section 1 Article 3 Exception 1 - tigerseye - 02-05-2016 Porter had no business on the field everybody knows it even the few who cling to their story. Everybody knows. The Steelers fans just keep twisting and hoping someone will believe them. Next time plan ahead and put him in a nurses outfit. Everyone sees what they did and know what Tomlin and the Steelers are all about. Everybody knows. Yet the officials let him out there...so that point is moot. And yet the Bengals fans want to create a myth that is easily disproved by actual video footage of what happened. Goodell personally edited the live broadcast to make the tape look this way as part of the conspiracy to fix games. Thank you. He had no business being out there but to try to cause a penalty which he accomplished. Congratulations. The Steelers found a new way to circumvent the rules. (Belicheck would be proud) Sorry no one is buying your spin. (Ignore what Porter does , act like he is supposed to care for the Steelers injured players and lets only look at what he caused). Coaches Code of Conduct. Rules for all the NFL teams including the Steelers. Porter was walking off the field without having talked to any Bengals until Burfict accidently hit him in the face. How do you check on the health of a player when you have your back to him? Serious question. Burfict was trying to remember how to talk and mumble something to AB as he was being walked off the field (faking his injury the ENTIRE time, or so I heard) when the training staff guy shoved him out of the way. THEN Porter says something to Burfict. Whatever Porter said it as said with an official between him and Burfict. Had it ACTUALLY crossed any kind of line the officials was right there to throw a flag. Then stupid Bengals number #2 (Gilberry) decides he's a tough guy and bumps Porter from behind. Then Burfict, who may have had a brief moment of clearheadedness after all the self inflicted concussions, appears to be trying to keep his fellow Bengals from doing anything as dumb as he would do...and in the process grabs Porter's shirt or jacket. Note all the Bengals players talking and surrounding Porter. Also note all the officials NOT THROWING FLAGS ON ANYONE but rather just attempting to break it up...until Adam "Pacman" Jones remembers why he couldn't get a job with anybody in the league until the Bengals signed him on the cheap and hit the official in the back while trying to get at Porter. Either Jones said something MUCH WORSE than anything that been said so far, or it was simply his running in to the back of the official, but THAT when a flag is finally thrown. Here is a clip that actually shows Burfict and Porter talking just before AB is helped up and off...along with the rest of the events. Porter is right next to AB until he gets behind when Burfict goes up to him. Overall Burfict seems to be cool headed. Gilberry escalates the situation by coming (from yards away) to bump Porter which leads to more talking (from the Bengals) and finally Jones coming from (yards away) to put the nail in the coffin. Also, tin foil is on sale this weekend for those who would believe anything other than what actually happened. |
