It's amazing that when this thread began a month and a scant 27 pages ago, all of the machinations that woud be necessary for a playoff berth to occur. And yet, here we are on the eve of the near-miraculous happening. And whether it happens or not, the last five weeks have been a trip worthy of a Hunter S Thompson monologue. Here's hoping it comes to pass.

I'm going to be really pulling for KC to upset the Broncos. I feel like the Broncos have been imploding, but I'm not too sure KC would want the Bengals in the playoffs anyway. I honestly think that KC won't push for a win. They might give the game away if it's close. Dolphins could for sure lose to the Jets with a lot of their starts out.

I will find it hilarious if broncos lose and Miami wins. That would be a dagger and I’d hope we don’t start out 0-2 next year.

Because I find humor in the irony of broncos losing and Miami winning doesn’t mean you have to find it funny. It would be an ironic combination to cause us to miss the playoffs. It is ok if you don’t find irony funny, I’m sure we don’t share the same sense of humor.
