They would show they just hold and hold a player with no relief. Sure, the Bengals pocketbook wins, but the team would just muddle along with Burrow, angry stars and middle tier players. Not winning anything like that.

it makes players mad in the locker room. I know people dont believe that or want to hear it, but its true

If you make this into an us versus them situation it won't end well.

This is a team sport after all.

Why would anyone want to create division amongst a team?

It weakens the team.

By telling Chase we want to hold him hostage and not pay him what he's worth that creates a toxic environment and who would want to play here in that environment?

On a larger scale this applies to US politics as well. People need more common sense and need to work together instead of letting the media divide us.

Group dynamics are interesting. In general division weakens any team and that team will get outcompeted by other teams.

Expressing your opinion is not going to insult anyone's intelligence. Unless you feel that your opinion is educated and there is a lack thereof in the counter.

I will say that nothing divides a Team worse than a few players viewed as the the elite within the Team. That is not just toxic, but tumorigenic. Further fuel is added to the fire, when displeasure from the elite affects the Team performance. We should have been ready for the Patriots game last year!!!

As related to politics, the prevalence of hubris and pomposity coupled with egocentrism is one of the main culprits in the divisions. This is not the forum to discuss politics, so I will not further the discussion.

There is no shortage of criticism directed towards the ownership and front office of the Bengals, historically and currently - which is fair. But this situation we are in now is beyond ridiculous. I feel that criticism of both parties is fair.

Everything but.. However from the volume of posts I can see how one might be inclined to think that there must be some exciting news related to Trey Hendrickson in here.

A large contingent constantly bashing on the FO.......
A large contingent arguing about Trey's value......back and forth.......
A large contingent running into the thread to tell all those fighting back and forth what deal just got signed that will affect Trey trade value.....and all three contingents arguing about it back and forth

Pretty much a bunch of repetitive posting. sharing nothing of value at all.

Kinda like my response to you I suppose.

It was reported by that Ricky the Dog dude. Now it's being reported by Kelsey Conway.

Why wasn’t Teven apart of the Bears plans. I hate getting Olineman from worse lines.

I also read something about this earlier. It stated that Jenkins was the first domino in the IOL sweepstakes. It basically stated that Cincy and a couple of other teams (Giants was one) were going after him and so on and so forth, but he was target #1.

Tee is an ironman compared to Teven Jenkins is probably the reason.

The comment on twitter was:

"BREAKING: The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to trade star Trey Hendrickson to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a 2025 3rd round pick. The reigning sack leader heads to Green Bay where he’s expecting to sign a long term deal. (per@AdamSchefter"

But, it appears to be some random, made-up, fake-news post. As one person pointed out, Adam Schefter apparently has no such information on his feed. ... And it was posted 8 hours ago

I wouldn't go that far, but they are pretty close on games played/started in the past 3 years.

RE: Happy Tampering Day - NATI BENGALS - 03-11-2025

I’d love to add Teven Jenkins and/or Jedrick Wills. Both seem worthy of a reclamation project opportunity.

yeah, I saw this in a 2023 news article: "Jenkins played six games in 2021 due to a back injury, missed four more games in 2022 due to injuries and this year has missed five games."

We already signed a year ago an olineman with injury problems in Trent Brown and he ended up lasting, I think, 3 games before he was out for the season. As someone said in the past, the number one ability is availability.

RE: BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded - samhain - 03-11-2025

I don't buy it. This team does some dumb shit, but they are also as stubborn as can be. No way on the world they let him go for a 3rd.

His is definitely a huge dude. But, also has nt played in every game in a season yet. I guess the good news he did play in 14 in 2024 after missing 5 in 2023 and 4 in 2022. He missed 12 games the past 3 years so averaged only 13 games played a year.

I have concerns. He is 27 while Brown was over 30 so he is younger.

I agree if he was so good, why did Bears feel the need to trade for 2 starting guards? I hope we keep lookig unless we are bringing him in a Ciody Ford type contract to compete for a starting position.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.  Ojulari lucked into a lot of sacks to skew his total.  Maybe Ossai truly is ascending.  I'm not going to beat them up over that particular choice.

Willis was drafted ahead of Tirfs by the Browns. I know fans think our FO is bad, but Browns are just plan horrid.

Can Willis play guard or are you thinking swing backup OT?
