Looking back on it they should of milked the clock more. And i never see andy milking the time clock,and ive been on the dalton train this year,hes looking better then ever. But you know who would of milked the clock and taken things slow, would of been carson palmer, he used to do it all game back then it seems like.

When you're down a touchdown you don't have the luxury of running clock, you need to get in the endzone no matter what.
Imagine if we ran down the clock, and then ran out of time. We'd have people in here howling all the same about how we wasted time and lost because of poor clock management.
Offense did their job, defense let us down.
i agree, you score when you can. you try to get smart and you don't get a TD in that situation.
defense let us down, and our d-line can't get pressure at all.

Weren't they on the 12 yard line when that happened? Do you really think we would have ran out of time needing only 12 yards?
No.
There was no reason to NOT let the clock run down. We weren't going to get the ball back if we turned it over. And if we did, there's no chance of scoring except on some sort of low % hail mary.
You snap the ball with 5 seconds left - that way the defense doesn't know the exact timing of the play. Leaving that much time on the clock made a huge difference.

Given the circumstances, milking the clock was not an option earlier in the drive. Especially in our own half of the field.
Getting cute in the red zone when down by a TD at the end of the game is blasphemy.
