The one that helped contribute to a complete rejuvenation of the Cincinnati downtown area since then? Twenty years ago downtown Cincinnati was modern day Dayton, nowadays it's a place you'd want to actually spend some time. Dayton officials did not accept the offer I'm not sure we have an appropriate practice field in Cincinnati. Didn't AJ hurt himself in TC a couple years back because he ran into a pile of rocks that was on the side of the field? They have a big bus stop and the jail down there.. and..uhh...errmmm....and...uhhh... Yeah! So there! We all thought he was dead because Andy threw him towards the sideline rocks often lol. RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - jj22 - 07-27-2019 I think Green has 4 years left in him. His injury history is getting concerning, so we'll see. I can't see him playing anywhere else. They have been a fun duo to watch and I hope they at least get the elusive playoff victory together. Like you said tho, it looks like Green only has about one contract left in him... maybe even less RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - oncemoreuntothejimbreech - 07-27-2019 (07-27-2019, 06:18 PM)McC Wrote: You would have preferred the San Antonio Bengals? Oh, I've always wanted to visit Cincinnati." RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - NKURyan - 07-28-2019 (07-27-2019, 11:55 PM)oncemoreuntothejimbreech Wrote: Really? It's Ohio, it's not exactly the tourism capital of the United States to begin with lol. But hey, here's Money Magazine citing Cincinnati as the 8th best place in the US to visit in 2019: http://money.com/money/longform/best-places-to-travel-2019/ ...and here's the New York Times calling Cincinnati the 8th best place in the world to visit in 2018: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/travel/places-to-visit.html Also Travel & Leisure recognizing it in their top 50 places in the world in 2017: https://www.travelandleisure.com/trip-ideas/best-places-to-travel-in-2017 Poor Hamilton County! As for Cleveland I'd say it attracts a decent amount of tourism because of the boating and fishing on Lake Erie. RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - grampahol - 07-28-2019 I remember as a kid going down to Crosley field..what an experience and there was that dreamy aroma of soap in the air everywhere..I can still taste it.. Actually I've always thought Cincinnati was kind of a cool place to visit. Living there on the other hand was never one of my favorite ideas. Reading a roadmap of the city used to be a fun experience trying to figure out how to get where.. Feast your eyes on this-- https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2018/08/31/greater-cincinnati-tourism-beats-records.html Kinda screams that your perceptions about Cincinnati are pretty much horseshit. Really, I've never been to a bad city with a newer stadium. Baltimore was really nice in the inner harbor. Just watch out for the bad areas of town and stay away. Pittsburgh is really nice on the North Shore. Seattle has a lot of nice things like the Space Needle near their stadium. RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - Trademark - 07-28-2019 Kirkpatrick looked pretty good yesterday though RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - pally - 07-28-2019 Darius Phillips is off PUP and will practice today RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - WiregrassBenGal - 07-28-2019 That practice yesterday in Dayton was fun. A guy in my building said only four of the Bengals starters were there, but I think just about everybody was. It was a nice day and not too hot and fun to see the Bengals in shorts and t-shirts practically. RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - Synric - 07-28-2019 Geno....
RE: Training Camp: News, Notes & Updates - THE PISTONS - 07-28-2019 Geno is definitely our best player. Very steady and reliable too. |
