It is very OFFICIAL. The summer of George depends on the results. It's going down to the wire and it's going to be EPIC!!!!!! P.S. You must be new around here. FYI, you can not type the word "OFFICIAL" without typing it like this. ***OFFICIAL*** Otherwise, it's not really official. Football is a contact sport so how in the hell is he not gonna get touched? QBs with even the best O-lines get touched or roughed up. We can't bubble wrap his ass. It's the past decisions of the organization that have made him damaged goods. Can't go back in time and can't protect Burrow every second of a game. I don't know why people aren't bitching more about Perine & Sample screwing up. What if Burrow's knee gets shredded there? Who do you blame? Six wins over the last two seasons. They opened with a win. An imperfect one, but a win. For God's sake try to enjoy it for a few minutes. Worst part is they're doing it based on a TD play that was more of the defense being bad than Chase being good. Chase's corner literally had his eyes on something else and let Chase get behind him. They out here thinking he Mossed the defense when the defense mossed themselves, lol. Or maybe that it took all of one game for Burrow with Chase to have his longest Air Yards throw of his young career. This is what the offense missed last year and was very bad at explosive plays. RE: Will we regret the Chase pick? - BengalsRocker - 09-12-2021 The most glaring thing was Hopkins being rusty recovering from an injury. They'd better have a viable option if he were to get injured. That ain't no lie. What does this quote have to do with the Oline? He had a few dimes and a play where the secondary took his eyes off him for a moment and now everyone thinks this he's Randy Moss. Give me an effing break. Be happy about the Dub, please. But come the hell on. If he makes plays like this after defenses study him a bit more or get him more coverage, then okay, FINE, but not now. This thread was/is about whether anyone will regret the Chase pick. That stuff up above is just "oh yeah, well...let's see him do it for X amount of time". If someone doesn't know Chase is able to do what he did today, for a lot more games, they need to re-evaluate their evaluations. If anyone is still regretting it after this game, they might want to...re-evaluate their evaluations. Is 5 sacks too many? Absofreakinglutely. But i will say this, i'm as comfortable with the Oline getting it together as i was with the Chase pick and knowing he'd be fine after dropgate went into full, silly swing. Regarding the bolded part. I wonder if you would have been happy, before the game, if someone had told you "they will win, but barely". Show me a Bengals fan right now that isn't happy with any kind of win after watching them for the last 5 years and i'll show you a Bengals fan that hasn't watched a game in the last 5 years. RE: Will we regret the Chase pick? - Frank Booth - 09-12-2021 Faulk, you admit 5 sacks is too much Burrow was limping at 1 point. The defense held a great offense to 24 points Minnesota has an ok defense. Bengals should’ve CRUSHED them The offense went into lulls in certain parts of the game This is all concerning RE: Will we regret the Chase pick? - Murdock2420 - 09-12-2021 (09-12-2021, 11:30 PM)BengalsRocker Wrote: The most glaring thing was Hopkins being rusty recovering from an injury. Guessing it would be the kid from Georgia. I don't think anyone else on the roster has taken snaps at center. |
