He can’t. Everyone downfield is blanket covered.

Higgins and Hurst were open. I think Burrow is affraid of throwing picks because of last game.

Burrow's sacked himself three times today including that one.

The reason the Bengals lost to Pitt was because noone put a hand on Fitzpatrick on the XP....AND because Zac didn't challenge a sure TD

Yes, which is why I said that was all Burrow.

He's now gun shy and seeing ghosts.

The clock inside his head is racing.

This teams is going NOWHERE without an improvement to the O-LINE.
It was literally the only ONE thing that needed fixing... and they failed.

RE: ***Week 2 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Cowboys*** - Timanky12 - 09-18-2022

He’s trying to keep his completion percentage up by not throwing the ball away. This is another sack on him.

How? only 1 route was 5 yards deep and it was 88 and doubled he had it if the rush didnt make him, pull it down from the left/defensive right.

McPherson is a very important part of the offense. He was last season too.

Meh, McKickbutt is so good Burrow can take all the 3rd down sacks he wants. Burning a timeout to do so...not as swift.

RE: ***Week 2 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Cowboys*** - reuben.ahmed - 09-18-2022

Hurst and Higgins were open, again. Burrow looking down to run after 2 seconds when they rush 3 = sack.

Their protections don’t match the plays.

It's kind of an all of the above. Although pff thought the line played well last week.

Burrow has apparently regressed.

Aight we put points on the board on b2b possessions. Now stay aggressive on D. Rush starting to play not to lose. Give him reason to worry

Well, that's not the actual reason but that sack was on him, yes.

Burrow himself has said he’d rather take a sack trying to make a play than throw it away.

I think someone needs to coach this out of him. It’s making him a shit QB.

At a certain point you make your own o line resent you because when Joe does that shit it doesn’t show as a mistake by Joe. It shows as a sack on them
