RE: Happy Tampering Day - CottonHill - 03-12-2025 SIGN CJ MOSLEY NOW. PLEASE He’d immediately be a top 5 player on this team and he won’t cost a lot. I think that Mosely is washed. Too many nagging injuries from over the years caught up with him. On another note, are we really at the point where we're just begging the team to make a move, any move, weather it's a smart move or not? I mean spending money just for the sake of it isn't generally thought of as wise. Teven Jenkins should be. RE: BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded - Luvnit2 - 03-12-2025 It appears Bengals have a high asking price for Trey. I am confident he will be with us in 2025. Bengals still very much in driver's seat. Those teams thinking the price will drop are fooling themselves. "However, during a segment on NFL Network, reporter Cameron Wolfe revealed what Cincinnati is looking for in return for the four-time Pro Bowler. “I also checked with some teams there and was told the asking price for Trey Hendrickson was also very high,” Wolfe said. “The Bengals are asking for a first-round pick and more, I was told. Teams are waiting that out and hoping that that market drops a little bit.” https://athlonsports.com/nfl/cincinnati-bengals/nfl-reporter-reveals-cincinnati-bengals-asking-price-for-four-time-pro-bowler-trey-hendrickson-revealed RE: BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 03-12-2025 (03-12-2025, 08:11 PM)Luvnit2 Wrote: It appears Bengals have a high asking price for Trey. A first round pick and a player are the way to go IMO. RE: Happy Tampering Day - NUGDUKWE - 03-12-2025 (03-12-2025, 07:53 PM)Nate (formerly eliminate08) Wrote: 2 Guards is what I want as well. Cannot have Volson and Ford starting. Zeit was paid 6 mil by the Lions last year and he is one year older. I think he was the highest graded RG remaining atleast that has maintained the level of play for as long as he has. I'm sure his # went up because the market and cap increased. Bottom line after seeing his # I would much rather having signed him for that # than have no one and see him on another team. What happens if we wait all this time talking to Tevin and he signs somewhere else? Let's hope that Katie and her squad is ready to play hardball for the guy we need. Then, if there is budget for Brandon Scherff, he would also be a great short term add. What happens if we wait all this time talking to Tevin and he signs somewhere else? I thought the Bengals would be all over a much better guard or 2 in free agency. I wanted Zeitler as a stop gap (then draft his replacement in round 1) for RG. Then sign Jenkins or Becton for LG. Becton played LG, but Sherff is a RG. I get the anxiety as each hour passes, it seems FO is in slow motion. The BS we need to know what we are doing with Chase and Tee is just that, BS. They have the money to fill a huge need. I have no idea why they are being passive to get it done. Get guys to protect the franchise already. What happens if we wait all this time talking to Tevin and he signs somewhere else? Zeit also played next to the best Center in football in Frank Ragnow IMO. I was not against signing Zeit, I just remember his wife didn't like Cincy and our team doesn't sign older FA's often so I thought he was unlikely so I am not sore about it at all. Would much rather have Teven Jenkins and a cheaper Scherff. We will see how it plays out. If Teven signs somewhere else, I will be a bit more negative once it truly is time. But it isn't over yet. Teven and Brandon would instantly make our OL so much better and we would have good depth for once in Cody Ford. He is definitely not in his prime but I promise you guys, he’d be the 2nd beat player on this defense if Hendrickson gets traded. But you guys are the same ones who thought Geno Stone and Sheldon Rankins were great signings. If healthy. He played 4 games last year. One was a neck injury. That's scary. Don't lump me in with that crowd. I was mildly optimistic about Geno Stone, but I was vehemently against trying to replace a NT with Sheldon Rankins. Yeah, when you read about neck and foot injuries in older players you know they're about done. Those aren't things the types of things that you can just play on and push through. |
