Making zero changes and expecting to turn it around was pie in the sky management decision. Giving the FA contracts to guys like Atkins and Dunlap who were getting a little long in the tooth handcuffed the team. We can discuss this until we are blue in the face but unless the FO makes drastic changes this will be the status quo for the Bengals.

Our defense is actually worse this year.

According to Fox sports rated 30th in 2018 and 27th this year. And that was with the great Marvin with 16 yrs at the helm.

We're giving up the most yards per game @ 429.4. Last year, we gave up 413.6 a game.

The objective of the defense is to not give up points not yards. Basically the same team he inherited from the great Marvin the defensive guru. People practically screaming for the return of Marvin are nuts.

Look again.

This years team is also giving up more POINTS (28.8 pg) than last years team (28.4 pg)

This years team is ranked #27 last years was #30. I guess you will search to disprove this too but the fact remains that Marvin's D was terrible too and calling for a return to that era is crazy. Move along nothing to see here!!!

Tells you how clueless the Inbreds are.

So IF they believe this team is talented enough...then the coaching is bad. And I'd agree with that. This team has some talent. Not SB talent...but not 0-9 level talent.
