Florio floats another "idea"...Cincinnati moves to Chicago and joins forces with the Bears ala LA and NY. That man seriously hates the Bengals.
If the Bengals leave the riverfront they are moving no further than the exburb counties. Look for Warren County and Northern Kentucky both to make major bids if the opportunity arises

Florio is in my opinion nothing but a Bengal hating troll. Kinda like the early days Howard Stern as it would apply to Sports reporting. I shared an article that included all of Katie's quotes in their entirety on Post #2, and even directed people to it a couple times. Yet some still choose to get caught up in the shock of clipped quotes and roll with it. No sympathy for those that choose to roll with the partial truth.

Personally, I wouldn’t give a billionaire a cent of tax payer money to build them a stadium. They can raise their own funds.
I feel the same about the millions players make for 17 games, but that the situation we are in . You want keep a small market team it means spending money just like keeping best players since the demand is high for nfl players and for nfl franchise

Say just for arguments sake the Bengals did move to another city or to Northern KY or up 75 toward Dayton. What happens to PBS. Is it the cities or the teams? Someone has to pay to maintain it and insure it while it sits empty (Like the Kentucky Speedway, which turned out to be a waste) or pay to tear it down.

With the second and third most valuable college football Teams in the nation (Longhorns and Aggies) situated right in Austin and College station, Bengals would have to compete with more than Dallas and Houston.

Never thought about that but it would make sense and sounds like it's actually a possibility. It wouldn't be too far fetched since the Giants and Jets both play in New Jersey but carry the New York name.
I doubt they could build a stadium on the river but there's tons of open land ten or fifteen miles south of the bridge into Cincinnati.
It would allow the Bengals to stay in the area and our taxes helped fund the stadium and other things!
I can't even imagine what that would do for the economy in this area!
That would be INCREDIBLE!

I agree that there is enough potential population and resources for a joint SA/Austin NFL Team. Musk has the money to buy a franchise, build a multi-billion dollar complex, pay the relocation fee and fund the Team till it builds a fan base and becomes profitable.
Bengals don't. And that is the point of this discussion.
As related to Houston - it was an NFL city already. Texans just filled the void that Oilers left behind.
Cowboys, Longhorns and Aggies are real hurdles that any NFL Team that would relocate to SA/Austin has to overcome. Unlike Houston, you have to build from scratch.
As far as Jones, the relocation fee will tell alot. As the great Frank Reynolds crooned "you have to pay the troll toll"
