Everyone yells "be aggressive" until they are and fail.

What if they don't convert the FG?

Then everyone has a surprised look on their faces, as Evan has nailed everything he has kicked with the starting LS on the field.

Not turning that into 7 points was a big miss from the Jets perspective. One more FG from the Bengals and the Jets have to pretty much score a TD on every drive.

After last week they think they got the Bengals right where they want them!

No win.

Of course it isn’t guaranteed. I sure wouldn’t blame Zac if the FG was missed. I am more conservative in nature I suppose than others. Also as mentioned we aren’t run blocking for shit. Take the 3 point attempt in hopes of making it a 3 score game. Just my preference.

Josh Allen has thrown 46 passes through 3, Tua has thrown 18 through 3. Miami up 21-17

Well indeed, but losses like that are 1 in a million... which is exactly why it'll happen again here.

The call to go was defensible. I had no problem with it.

Running a short, slow sweep to the short side of the field is lunacy.

Not fiction. I've read it many times.

2021-2022, the Bengals have converted 85% of 4th and 1's via rush. Seventh best in the league over that timeframe. Very small sample size, though. Only 7 attempts.

Except we've been picking up the QB sneaks this year. I thought Burrow was gonna snap it and go.

Forget about last week... weren't we 11 up on big Mike White with not that long to go?

Need to get a score on this drive

And I guess Josh McDaniels is still a bad head coach

3 points is more than what is scored per drive on average in the NFL.  In leu of an injured kicker or long snapper, it's better to take the 3. Anyone who says that field goals are bad is just not that bright.
