But the defence needs to just be passable enough to do their bit... yes they are deficient in talent, but I can't understand how anybody could have any confidence that Lou is the man to get it to work. Maybe nobody can, maybe our defence is just that awful, but we can't sit here and waste a season of healthy Burrow on this defence.

I think the wagons are going to get circled about the Bungles organization at the end of this season. Haven't changed. Mike Brown needs to croak for a real change?

We have lived up to our old nickname this year.

I'm probably late on this, but I'm ashamed of the way the last drive was handled. We were gifted the ball and single coverage on Chase the whole drive. They stacked the box and made us kick a long FG. Disgusting that they didn't believe in the passing game that was carving them up all game.

Seems bad.

Between this and the historically bad opening months every year I'd risk the FO picking out a new coach.  Yes I understand that they're capable of hiring another Marvin.

Pretty sure it’s just a fan. The record speaks for itself though.

The kicker literally had ZERO to do with the miss... it was ALL on the holder.

Maybe the snapper?

No need to blame Erik

It would be pretty sweet if we got someone like Vrabel to be the HC. He's way better than Zac.

Taylor costs us 3-7 points almost every week.

We will never win it with him at the helm. Harbaugh goes 4th & 1 at his own 29. ZT is aftlraid to throw it in OT with Burrow, Chase, & Higgins.

Champ vs chump.

Why don't we hire Belichick?

I mean, seriously.

We had a personnel issue, blame that one on Simmons and the player who didnt check in properly.

This is Zac's team.  Hubbard is the only holdover from the Marvin era; his rookie year was Marvin's last year.  I think we've been unlucky with injuries, but this roster is Zac's roster, make no mistake.  I think we're past the days that if Zac walks into Duke's office and says "we absolutely need X" that Duke and the Browns will blow him off.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Zac Taylor has the killer instinct of a gerbil.

He would have zero interest coming here with the way Bengals front office is run and control things.

see this is where i get super p*ssed off and believe this is cultural, lack of accountability.

Zac needs to be chewing Simmons out on this.  If these basic details are not being looked at then under stress they will be exposed.

Clearly by going heavy, running 3 times straight we knew we were attempting the FG then, where on the field we would be , etc.

How the hell do we have a personnel, communication issue at that critical point?!?

Also find it quite humorous that we are now at a point where fans are pissed off that we are not going to the Super Bowl each and every year, but want to fire the head coach. Bizarre! Ninja

Yeah, it is looking more and more like those two good seasons were outliers than they were the norm. Last year we failed because our QB was injured. This is the healthiest he's ever been (in terms of availability at least), and we're 1-4. There's currently no reason to think this team gets better soon, outside of aggressive trades/draft moves. Not like we're waiting for guys to come back or tons of talent to come through.

I've only seen Zac "chew out" someone once (La'el Collins) and that was extremely mild.

I like having a great offense with a HC running it, so we dont lose OC after OC, but Zac does not seem big on accountability, at least not publicly.  Lou and Simmons semingly have easy jobs.

If the defense was just bad, instead of horrible, we could have experienced another 2021 & 2022 run.
