They'll finish above .500 again for sure. Sitting at 5-2 with 10 games left their absolute floor is 9-8 IMO.

To win the AFC North means going 4-0 against the rest of the division and maybe taking one more loss outside the division. Basically we will need to go 8-1 to have a realistic shot at winning the North and 7-2 might earn a wild card berth.

Now that the Browns have a new QB[stupid they traded away Cooper] and if Chubb regains his skills unfortunately 4th place is smelling us again.

We scored 17 points today. Every game that has ended, 17 points was not going to win you the game. Not a single thing of this team is excellent, which means no division title, most likely no playoffs.

Kevin, they've played 8 games. They're 0-4 at home and haven't beaten a good team yet.
There is absolutely nothing in the tea leaves that point to a possible turnaround in the 2nd half of the season. "Ifs" don't count.

I'll never begrudge anyone for getting some shameful joy in (the Jets message board has been absolute gold lately), but I can't really look at the Ravens losing to the Browns without being reminded that yet again another losing NFL team beat the Ravens for us and we were too busy losing our own game to make it actually hurt them. I mean, if you put money on the Steelers or Chiefs to win then good on ya, but otherwise it doesn't do us much good. We looked that gift horse in the mouth yet again.
Though I'll admit I have a hard time being upset at the Chiefs being successful since people have decided a team that won 2 SBs due to good football won a 3rd one because of nothing short of deep-state lizardmen-caliber conspiracies is entertaining.
