RE: BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded - SunsetBengal - 03-17-2025 (03-17-2025, 07:58 PM)Nate (formerly eliminate08) Wrote: Trade him for a Guard or a Draft pick. Pratt doesn't fit Golden's Defense anyways, he needs faster LB's that can rush the passer and cover The hell of it is, Pratt is a smart and instinctive player. He plays much faster than his timed speed. He's seemingly always in position to make the play, but goes for the big shot or the strip, rather than the sure tackle. RE: BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded - QueenCity - 03-17-2025 Bengals Captain says the contract is done... won't bite on the source. Things have moved quickly today maybe it's announced before my bed time tonight. True and he requested a trade anyways because I think Golden told him he was going to go back to being a 2 down LB at most in his Defense. I like Pratt and loved what he did for us in locking up our first Playoff win in forever but it is time to move on and get something for him. The guy is still under contract and will play his ass off so that another team will give him a fair deal when he becomes a free agent. The Bengals gave him a shot at being a 3 down guy, but his tackling was noticeably less than what we had come to expect from him. Sure, he made a TON of tackles, but many of which were way further down field than his first contact. RE: BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded - pulses - 03-17-2025 Burks > Pratt time to move on from Pratt and draft a young guy in the draft who can tackle and cover and pass rush a little when needed. We only have 6 picks. What do we gain by cutting Pratt now? I hope they wait and make the decision after preseason. He also may have changed his mind, if so we would have no credible source to know it. I like Pratt and feel if Golden coaches him properly (not go for strips all the time), he can be a very good LB. He has very good instincts and a ton of experience.I think Moss and Stone should be in the same boat also. I see Pratt playing a lot of 1st downs and maybe second downs, depending on distance and game situation. Burks will likely be that guy that comes in for Pratt, or that 3rd LB when they use that look. RE: Burrow; Welcome to the Hot Seat - Gdale_Bengal - 03-17-2025 It’s not impossible to build a contender from here, but they will have to hit well in the draft and have good player development. Which they haven’t had in a long time RE: Burrow; Welcome to the Hot Seat - bengalsboy - 03-17-2025 (03-17-2025, 04:35 PM)BengalsBong Wrote: The only hot seat I see is under Zac if we miss the playoffs 3 years in a row that is a big issue.Agree.Him resting the starters, all preseason.has to stop.Every year, they start out slow.Because the starters, did not play,in the preseason. RE: Burrow; Welcome to the Hot Seat - Bronxbengal - 03-17-2025 Boy wonder Zak Taylor is n the hot seat. At minimum if they don’t make the playoffs and have top 5 offense his butt needs to be thrown out of paycor stadium. It’s his baby now RE: Burrow; Welcome to the Hot Seat - ERIC1 - 03-17-2025 (03-17-2025, 05:31 PM)Frank Booth Wrote: they just made winning a super bowl that much harder. Hope Burrow likes breaking records on 9-8 teams. front office caved..look I like Higgins..when healthy ..a very good receiver..but man tying that much money up in three players recipe for problems down the line. I mean, we'd gain some cap space, but we already have space enough to do more than we are doing. Why is Moss still here, for instance? And we'd create another hole to fill. I think if Golden wanted to move on from him, we'd already have done so. Cinci. was 5th in the league last year at 63.93% in Red Zone Scoring Percentage (TD only) if this is what he's talking about. Problem with SAS is because he's such a loudmouth and making 20mm per year, he doesn't believe anybody would ever take the time to look up this stat or any stats he shouts out.I thought that stat was bogus when I read that. I knew I heard we were in the top 5 at the end of the season... RE: They're Done!!! Bengals delivered choke job after choke job last season a couple of those games should swing back our way. I believe we lost a couple of games last year because our kicking game couldn't get it right. |
