So would you rather have Apple back over Turner? Or are you just complaining to complain? Sorry - I have to say, this post is ***** awful. Just rancid. Do better. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - bfine32 - 04-28-2023 Moving on to RD 3: In the "Who do you want" thread I said Devon Achane. And still would love him, but some unexpected players available. When you're a great team picking late, most likely your picks are for depth/future. Thats what good teams do RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - bfine32 - 04-28-2023 (04-28-2023, 10:31 PM)NotBigzo Wrote: So how does he help us win now again? WE DON'T NEED ROOKIES TO HELP US WIN NOW. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - Synric - 04-28-2023 The Bengals are looking to get cheaper on defense which is where they spent their money during the rebuild. They have put money into the OLine and soon to be Burrow Chase and Maybe Higgins. Moves at high dollar premium positions on defensive like corner and DE will save money on offense. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - Soonerpeace - 04-28-2023 Turner and Murphy were both BPA. Murphy was around the 20th best player in the draft at an important position. Turner was mocked in the first round by Kiper and several others. Murphy give me a break 6.5 270 4.51 is elite speed. Now Turner one of the fastest times at the combine in a long time. You can’t coach speed and Lou can coach up the other. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - CincyKid - 04-28-2023 (04-28-2023, 10:29 PM)reuben.ahmed Wrote: Speed kills. Ask Ja'mahh and the Chiefs Defense. Lou is a DB guru........he is loaded back there w/ speed RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - QueenCity - 04-28-2023 I'm glad they are keeping the future in mind but it's a catch 22.... you really should be going for it. Would like to see them at least trade up in the 3rd and grab someone they want. Damn bills RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - TheLeonardLeap - 04-28-2023 (04-28-2023, 10:29 PM)OSUfan Wrote: Have you made a single positive statement since the draft started? Just curious. Have they drafted a single starter since the draft started? Just curious. I don't have to immediately adopt the opinion that every pick is going to be great (statistically most drafts only get, what, 2 decent players out of it if you're lucky?) and gargle a guys nuts in order to be a fan of the team. If they end up actually playing, I will cheer for them just like I do all guys who put on the Bengals uniform and perform well. Doesn't mean I can't disagree with the pick until then. Also, what's up with the font? It's unrelated to the conversation and I am not saying it to pick a fight, though you feel like you might be a bit determined.... but why? And Paul Dehner really addressed that. Gosh maybe they are thinking long term and smart??? LMAO don’t you think . You get it. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - Synric - 04-28-2023 Kraft if he's there not likely but Spears, Bigsby, or off the wall Tyler Scott. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - OSUfan - 04-28-2023 (04-28-2023, 10:29 PM)Justin1462 Wrote: Give me Tank Bigsby in Rd 3 all day long, I like Achane speed too but Bigsby is more of an every down back who still has ability to break long runs and not get caught from behind like Mixon does. Would prefer Spears, Johnson, Abanikanda, and even Prince. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - Justin1462 - 04-28-2023 (04-28-2023, 10:30 PM)Joelist Wrote: Another possibility true. The main point is unless we want to struggle again versus 2 high Mixon has to go. I agree with you, Mixon needs to go. We can’t get worse than Mixons 3.9 YPC. I also can’t watch another year of struggling to convert 4+1 with a slow 220 pound back. RE: ***2023 NFL Draft Thread*** - Vas Deferens - 04-28-2023 Hope we find an Atkins level sleeper here soon.
