Did you spread myths and lies while he, an innocent bystander of Bengals truth and enlightenment, defend Mike Brown's purity?

Treys agent is an idiot, that I will agree with.
However, I have heard that the $ is agreed upon it’s just guarantees in years 2/3. This is an example of the bengals FO not going for it while they can. Risk it and guarantee another year. This gets your player signed and the team ready to compete. Seems like the number one focus is always not to lose the contract negotiation.
For once just take the risk and do what best helps the team try to win a SB.

If they sign Trey will you reverse course and thank the FO for going for it? I am curious as some like to harbor things to use later against the FO.

I say get it done too. If so, great job FO so we have every piece under contract and happily under contract.

Trey's contract is going to get done.  He wouldn't be in Cincinnati if not.

There's reports the contract and money is done.  The disagreement is on guarantees in the 2nd and 3rd year.

Both sides are going to have to bend, and I'm guessing if the $$$ is agreed on, the Bengals are paying him big $$$.

My guess is you'll see Trey in camp in the next week or 2.

Positive is he should be well rested coming to camp :)

If there's a disagreement on guarantees in 2nd/3rd year then the money is far from done. If it's a guaranteed contract like other sports then no issue but he can be cut in any year of the contract, thus, wanting more $ in year 2.

I was never concerned..a first round draft pick is a big deal..hendickson is a good player..if the team has some extra cash..they will pay him

The doom and gloom and the sky is falling the past month was rather comical

The team is getting ready to compete..99% of the players and coaches are not even thinking about hendickson lcontract negotiations

Lol@ for once...dude .....what planet are you living on...the FO just spent a zillion bucks on burrow, higgjns , chase

Your comments are an example of someone that needs to take a chill pill and learn the value of patience...

RE: Trey Hendrickson Update - Bengalitis - 07-30-2025

The problem with the FO is.. they don't really have a plan B for this... The D was shredded after the super bowl and its been the weakest ever... expect another mediocre year or worse if we dont have Trey.. (if he plays to the level).

E

And look at it this way, every day he is on the sideline in street clothes is another day he's not risking season ending injury.

they also dont have a plan for guard if they have Cody Ford in the mix for the starting spot

I think Patrick and Fairchild were the plan. I guess we need to see how bad Patrick's calf injury is.

He is in Cincinnati because it costs him $50k/day to not be there.  That is money he has to pay to the club out of his pocket.  If he won't get paid if he misses any games, but he won't be giving money back either.  But not reporting to camp makes his bank account go down.

I'm kinda hoping that Patrick's injury is serious enough that it forces the Bengals to go after one of the free agent guards available.

Now someone can give us daily updates about how much Mike Brown is paying Trey to stand on the sideline.  Hilarious

That’s still a really bad plan. A 3rd round rookie, and a 32 year old journeyman as your starting guards? And for the people who keep touting Patrick as some high end pass blocker he was 79th/136 guards last season. That sure doesn’t seem ideal for a team that’s supposed to have SB aspirations because of their QB.

It’s not. He practiced today.

Should bring in Hernandez anyways IMO. I think he fits Peters scheme better than Risner and Scherff and he is younger and was just cleared.

Welp, back to smoking the hopium.

Did you know Patrick hasn't given up a sack in like 2 years (give or take a year)? Also, and I swear to God this is true: he has 23 yards on 2 kick returns.
