Re-Playing Witcher3 for the first time in three years and since the X/S updated with the free new quests.

This game is such a masterpiece that I really have no other words for it. Veilguard is OK, but this is what an action RPG should be.

Yeah its goated, and one of my all time favs. Quests, music, voices, storylines, about everything is top notch

Some of the Devs from CDPR have left and made a new Studio and have announced this game.

I might be more excited for Dawnwalker and Exodus than Witcher 4 and Mass Effect 4   as a lot of the Devs that made them great left to these new companies

Going to do a replay of the Dark Souls games. Been searching for RPGs that scratch that itch, and nothing comes close.

There's just something special about them. I go back to a few other tried and true RPGs from time to time like Chrono Trigger/Cross, Mana, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy but Dark Souls just hits the spot at times. Infinitely replayable. Challening but fair (once you get past the learning curve). Game breakability. Exploration. They are certainly among the best modern-gen games, and even best all-time.

Just platinum’d Dead Island 2 and it’s DLC. Pretty damn fun game. Would definitely recommend, especially if you find it on sale like I did.

I was too young to understand chrono trigger when I beat it, I need to find time to replay it.

Are any of the new secret of mana games good?

Despite the Mana series usually being a day 1 purchase for me I haven't played Visions yet. The Trials remake was very good, although a bit easy, but was also got difficulty upgrades by some post release updates. Certainly worth playing. A MUCH better remake than the Secret of Mama one was.

Just rolled credits and 100% indiana Jones the great circle..  This was a great game.  set in between Lost Ark and Last Crusade.

If y’all are like me and enjoy doing side quests and truly completing a game, you’ll like it. Besides the Main Quests and side quests, there’s grouped challenges that give permanent stat boosts to ALL your characters. Weapons, survival, a zombie-pedia, etc. There is also a Neighborhood Watch mode that I have not touched yet, where you and your team have a set amount of days to build up your base before the final day when the swarm comes. A LOT of content. Hell, I’m having fun just popping into random players’ games and killing shit. Drop kicking zombies is addictive!

Made it through the campaign of DOOM Eternal and started one of the DLCs but ran out of motivation. Not a bad game, but kind of drones on.

i will say the DLCs especially the first one seemed like 1 long fight lol...   it was intense to be sure very good though if you can make it thru the dlc levels the base game will become easier

By the time I made to the DLCs the combat was feeling more like a chore than a challenge. The marauder, for example, is completely antithetical to the combat loop. When they throw two of them out there it wasn't a feeling of "oh boy how do I approach this" but eye-roll inducing.

It started off strong. But I feel like it kind of went with quantity over quality. Movement is excellent, the mechanics are great, exploration/platforming is fun, but the enemy encounters could have been tighter.

i will say i didnt learn to to quickly take care of the Marauders till i had to face 2 at once
