As a young student, there were a bunch of us who admired his vocal talents. Love, a positive and upbeat message and jazz fusion were his trademarks. One of the greatest jazz vocalists ever.
Rest in peace, Al. Thanks for the music!

Classic singer, his song "We are in this love together " is timeless to me . This world loses more greatness....

When I read this I immediately thought of the theme from Moonlighting. Now I have that going through my head, which aint so bad.
