James Wright waived - pally - 03-13-2017 per Dehner tweet... tough break but injuries did him in James Wright waived - BenZoo2 - 03-13-2017 If we had done this last week we would have the cap space to sign Jeffrey [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: James Wright waived - Okeana - 03-13-2017 (03-13-2017, 01:37 PM)BenZoo2 Wrote: If we had done this last week we would have the cap space to sign Jeffrey [emoji6] we have 27 million in cap right now. RE: James Wright waived - ochocincos - 03-13-2017 I don't mean to celebrate someone who was injured, but he was never good as a WR. Hopefully this opens up a spot for someone to come in and have more of an impact on offense. RE: James Wright waived - Luvnit2 - 03-13-2017 (03-13-2017, 01:25 PM)pally Wrote: per Dehner tweet... Core is an upgrade already and I think he may develop into a very good WR so I like our group of: Green, LaFell, Boyd, Core, Erickson and a couple of others will be brought in through draft and undrafted FA's to compete RE: James Wright waived - CageTheBengal - 03-13-2017 Last year we were freaking out about wideouts between Boyd, Core and Erickson though I really like our young talent. Hopefully this time next year we will feel the same about the o-line. James Wright waived - BenZoo2 - 03-13-2017 You guys did see the wink at the end of my comment? I was being a tad facetious Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: James Wright waived - BengalsRocker - 03-13-2017 Last season was the only season I thought Tate should have made the team. He was better at everything than Wright was. Though it did give AE a chance to prove himself... which he did. Wright... not so much. RE: James Wright waived - Mer - 03-13-2017 One thing I liked about Wright is that when I saw him catch a ball he used his hands and didn't let it get to his body. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets on a new team and does well. RE: James Wright waived - impactplaya - 03-13-2017 He never did anything that made you go wow he's gonna be special Never can understand why Lewis likes to draft SEC wrs that were at best 4th or 5th on a depth chart in college RE: James Wright waived - XenoMorph - 03-13-2017 (03-13-2017, 03:41 PM)impactplaya Wrote: He never did anything that made you go wow he's gonna be special He was a special teams draft pick... and did well at that aspect when he was health which was almost never. Nothing worth giving him a roster spot for.. Should have been gone last year. RE: James Wright waived - TheLeonardLeap - 03-13-2017 Might have done something good if not for that microfracture knee surgery. 8.2 yards per catch is pretty telling. RE: James Wright waived - Murdock2420 - 03-14-2017 This is such an odd move unless he just wasn't recovering at all from the injuries. Not a big cap savings to cut him, and still need 90 bodies to come to training camp. Guess I don't see why they make this move and still have Adam Jones sitting around taking up space. RE: James Wright waived - wolfkaosaun - 03-14-2017 Why is this such a surprise to people? Outside of special teams, he's been irrelevant. He never did anything in college. He never did anything in the NFL. He's been here since 2014. I'm fine with him leaving. 25 catches in college. 18 in the NFL. He has caught 43 balls. Period. |
