If you get a pick that high, you have to come away with a true top 6 player. I don't view Davis as that guy. That being said, the only other real flaw that I see is the trade with Pittsburgh. That's a pretty unlikely trade. At this point in the draft (the way this played out), the true top 5 players were already gone (meaning no one reached on a QB). Davis, IMO is a top 10 player, and could be the missing piece for us opposite AJ. RE: I think I could live with this - c12schleyer - 03-28-2017 Tried it out again... Round 1 Pick 19 (T.B.): John Ross, WR, Washington Round 1 Pick 30 (PITT): Forrest Lamp, OG/OT, Western Kentucky Round 2 Pick 9: Raekwon McMillan, ILB/OLB, Ohio State Round 2 Pick 14 (IND): Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State Round 2 Pick 17 (WASH): Sidney Jones, CB, Washington Round 2 Pick 24 (OAK): Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan Round 2 Pick 30 (PITT): Pat Elflein, C/OG, Ohio State Round 3 Pick 9: Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma Round 3 Pick 25 (HOU): Marcus Maye, FS, Florida Round 4 Pick 9: Justin Evans, SS, Texas A&M Round 4 Pick 31 (COMP): Davis Webb, QB, California Round 4 Pick 35 (HOU): Devonte Fields, OLB/DE, Louisville Round 6 Pick 20 (T.B.): Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State Round 7 Pick 9: Kenny Allen, P, Michigan Round 7 Pick 19 (T.B.): Travin Dural, WR, LSU RE: I think I could live with this - Hammerstripes - 03-28-2017 (03-28-2017, 01:53 PM)c12schleyer Wrote: At this point in the draft (the way this played out), the true top 5 players were already gone (meaning no one reached on a QB). I would still have gone with one of these guys: Fournette Hooker Allen Thomas Adams RE: I think I could live with this - NATI BENGALS - 03-28-2017 Not even a hint of realism. |
