LB's No Trade Mock - lbrown41017 - 04-25-2017

First and Final mock before the draft:

1/9) Derek Barnett DE - Believe baring a run on Thomas/Allen/Howard, he will be BPA at this point on their board
2/41) Joe Mixon RB - Really hope that panthers snag a RB in the 1st, would make this pick much more possible
3/73) Ethan Pocic OL - Many see him as an undersized center, feel he can be a utility knife for our interior line
4/116) Josh Malone WR - This kid is rising up my board
4/138) Kendall Beckwith ILB - Coming off injury, would be a great value pick
5/153) Julie'n Davenport OT - Great Physical traits, will need some technique work
5/176) Ryan Glasgow DT - Backup Billings fit into rotation
6/193) Brandon Wilson CB - Bengals showing interest in another Houston CB
6/217) TJ Logan RB - Return Specialist
7/227) Johnathan Ford FS - Another bengals prospect visit; will be able to hold williams accountable
7/251) Josh Thorton CB - Bengals have shown interest, team locking him in rather than UDFA

I'd much prefer Howard at 9 if available. As well I'm sure if they feel Zane is their guy, they'll reach and snag him (benefit of having 11 picks Tongue )

Solid draft overall. One question is you say that Pocic is seen as an undersized center...isn't the dude like 6'7"? I do think Barnett is an option but for some reason I get the feeling it will be one of the other three guys you mentioned somehow falling to us and being the BPA over Barnett. Mixon seems like a no brainer at 41 if available. Reminds me of the interest in Gio when he was coming out and everyone was mocking Gio in the 2nd...and thats exactly what happened.

Bang Head Yeah you are totally right, was definitely looking at a different prospect on that one. He's like 6'7" 300+ . Do feel like he good get some playing time and add depth at a few positions.

He does lack strength/leverage but not size. I personally don't want him (as a center at least) because he is too tall and thus will lose the leverage battle too often. Might be able to work at guard.
