Jeremy Maclin - TheLeonardLeap - 06-03-2017 Has been released: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/06/02/chiefs-dump-jeremy-maclin/ http://www.nfl.com/player/jeremymaclin/80429/profile I'd gladly cut LaFell if it meant signing Maclin. Green/Maclin/Ross being on the field at the same time would open up the defenses for the run by quite a bit. EDIT: Looks like it was a cap move. They saved $10m in cap space, putting them up to now $11.8m in cap space. The downside of paying Justin Houston like a top franchise QB. Just doesn't make sense as presented. RE: Jeremy Maclin - BenZoo2 - 06-04-2017 I think I would prefer they just extend our own guys as I don't see wr as a weakness now. Sure maclin is probably better than everyone not named green but IMHO resources are better spent elsewhere. RE: Jeremy Maclin - SunsetBengal - 06-04-2017 Maclin would be a great option, if this were last season, when we were in serious need of help at WR. The team has done a very nice job of amassing talented players at the position. Money can be better spent on other areas. RE: Jeremy Maclin - impactplaya - 06-04-2017 Maclin is declining The numbers support that I will take LAFELL over Maclin LaFell knows the offense better and is coming off A better year RE: Jeremy Maclin - milksheikh - 06-05-2017 Don't need Maclin... RE: Jeremy Maclin - bengals67 - 06-05-2017 Bengals won't even consider this and they are right not to do so. WR group is set and we need the money to re-sign Burfict and maybe Eifert. RE: Jeremy Maclin - XenoMorph - 06-05-2017 Yeah timing isn't right we just stocked up and have too many quality WRs as is granted not a ton of experience But we have some Vets, We have youngings and we have the Speeed. At this point as others mentioned Lafell has a year in the system and some time working with Dalton He stepped up for us last year when AJ was out. RE: Jeremy Maclin - SunsetBengal - 06-12-2017 Two year deal with the Ravens. Ravens might also still be pursuing Decker too. http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2017/6/12/15785848/ravens-still-in-play-for-eric-decker RE: Jeremy Maclin - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 06-13-2017 Nice pickup by the Ravens. Hope they don't get Decker too, that would be a tough WR corps. Almost as tough as ours. ![]() We should be all over Flacco though, we should sweep them once again. They will be better than last year but so will we IMO.
