Weapons at Skill Position with No Offensive Line - THE PISTONS - 09-10-2017 We have skill players at WR, TE, and RB that everyone thought would produce a potent offense. But, we also have an offensive line that starts 4 guys who would be a backup on most teams. As we saw today, Dalton was sacked 5 times and hurried more. It also leads to short drops that get tipped at the line. Is there any other adjustments the team can make? Maybe more screen passes? A bad line is nearly impossible to overcome. The defense looked bad, but 4 TO's will make the score lopsided in any game. Haha - The homers didn't want to hear us. Talking about how we've lost a lot of core players to free agency over the past 2 years and stating that we need our 1st Rounders to play in Year 1 is taboo also. Now, we have a roster with good skill players and a terrible offensive line. Much like we did in the 1990's. |
