One, yes only 1 - bengalfan74 - 09-25-2017

Since beating Pittsburgh 16-10 on Nov. 1st 2015 during the 8-0 run out of the gate this team has exactly one win against teams who finished the season with a winning record ! ONE The Miami Dolphins who finished up 2016 at 10-6.

Since losing to Pittsburgh in playoffs this team is 6-12-1. Our overall record since we beat Pittsburgh on Nov. 1st 2015 is 11-14-1. Four of those eleven wins have come against a Browns team who has won a grand total of 4 games during this time span. If we didn't have the luxury of playing them 4 times in this span I doubt we'd have 11 wins.

Basically speaking, besides the Miami anomaly, every half way decent team we've played since that 8-0 start to 2015, beats us !

It's way past time to face the glaring fact that this team is in a bad downward spiral and it's time to hit the reset button. The entire coaching staff needs to be gone, blow it up. This season is toast anyways. We badly need a reboot, a new culture, however you want to put it.

Of the say 14, 15, 16 games or so we've played against good teams in our last what amounts to 1 and 2/3 seasons we've won -

ONE game !

Since then, we've also lost: Reggie Nelson, Leon Hall, Andre Smith (although he returned as a backup), Whitworth, Jones, Sanu, Zeitler, Maualuga, Peko in free agency.

You can argue that some of those guys needed to go...but there were a lot of our core starters in that list.

Also worth mentioning that at the time the Bengals played the Dolphins, they were a dumpster fire. They were nowhere near as good at that time compared to the end of that year.

At the end of the day, Marvin has not found (or lost) any way to motivate these players for an entire 60 minutes against a strong competitor.

Yep,

Save a series here, a quarter there, this offense has been a dumpster fire ever since that 8-0 run.

Lazor has his work cut out for him to say the least. And I have little faith in him alone fixing it.

We desperately need a complete culture change.

Having to take a time out to run the first play in overtime and then making the "creative" decision to run right for a loss on first play- just says it all about Marv and this team right now.

Keystone Cops style lol

Pathetic huh ? Go into over time having like 10 minutes perhaps more from the final whistle of regulation to the first snap on Offense and we can't even get a play off without calling a timeout !

Well, sticking to my 'conspiracy theories' it could be also argued that this team was getting just too close to knocking off some big market teams and upsetting the big market revenue apple carts.. Something had to be done to remedy that situation and keep this team as the perpetual loss leader. So...get rid of a few key players and VOILA!
Imagine that Kroger suddenly decided to start selling prime rib and lobster tails for  .39 cents a pound every day and selling greasy chicken thighs for $29.99 a pound.  That would be the equivalent of the Bengals winning the super bowl every year.. Yeah, I know..bad metaphor..
