RE: The worst-case scenario for every AFC team (and the best-case, too) - Johnny Cupcakes - 09-07-2015 The Bengals best case scenario is certainly better than 10-6, if we're being realistic...especially if Baltimore and Pittsburgh come in at 13-3. There is no way that they're both 3 whole games better than the Bengals if they're all playing at their top level. In best case scenarios, the Bengals are the best team in the division. Unfortunately for me, the other two teams have far superior coaching, and much more consistent QB play, so I'd bank on them playing at their best more often than the Bengals. Steelers offense will struggle to save them missing the middle of the OL. 9-7 seems best case. Its just the natural turnover of players seemed to hit at once. I don't know about that, honestly. The Steelers have 5 1st round picks in their front 7, 4 of those being in the LB corps. They neglected their secondary thinking that if they could stop the run and have a monster pass rush, they could cover up the weakness in the secondary. However, most of those high draft picks have underachieved and the cupboard is bare in the secondary. Part of it is roster turnover, but part of it bad drafting of the replacement pieces.
