Among first of black players to win World Series MVP Award. Among first of black players to hit over 500 home runs. Among first of black players to be in MLB Hall of Fame. His number retired in both Cincinnati and Baltimore. So a combo of Black History Month and Reds History. As the announcers words echo in Crosley Field History " In Right Field, Number 20, Frank Robinson.....Robinson. " Other black Ohio stars of that 1950's & 1960's era were Oscar Robertson of Royals.
