Last 2019 Mock (4.0) Takedown - Bengalpool - 04-23-2019

Last Mock for 2019. I can't say it's realistic, but I do have a bad feeling that both Devin's could be gone before we pick. And if that happens, we better hope we can trade down (which IS realistic for the Bengals I believe). If we can find a trade partner and make a deal (if both Devin's are gone), we need to do it. Too many needs.

Send pick #11 to the Titans for #19, #51 and swap 5th round picks (#149 for #157).

#19: Brian Burns, DE, Florida State

I understand a lot of people won't like the position here, but Dunlap isn't getting any younger and Burns may be pretty high on the Bengals big board. We've had some private workouts/visits with a handful of DL prospects that are projected to go in the 1st-2nd round.

There will be a lot of options available for OT in the 2nd to 3rd round and with the top 2 LB's gone, there's no need to reach for need here. If we don't trade down, TJ Hockenson could be the other option which would change everything. What would you do?

#42: Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson

BPA and would be a day one starter next to Geno. Someone always falls at least a little bit.

#51: Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama

Mack addresses arguably our biggest need at #51. Great coverage skills that we covet and a pretty good tackler. Some may say this is a reach, but with not many options for coverage LB's in this years draft, I'd be surprised to see him even at #42. Could go in late 1st round.

#72: Will Grier, QB, West Virginia

Sleeper QB of this draft who IMO would excite me more than taking any other QB not named Kyler Murray.

110: Tytus Howard, OT, Alabama State

Small school lets a 2nd-3rd round prospect slide to us at #110.

#157: Mike Weber, RB, Ohio State

#183: Cole Tracy, K, LSU
#198: Khalil Hodge, LB, Buffalo
#209: Alex Bars, OT, Notre Dame
#210: Blace Brown, CB, Troy
#213: Zach Gentry, TE, Michigan

#223: Mike Edwards, S, Kentucky
