Missing this week, Carl Lawson has played in just 11 of the last 23 games.

A total of just 857 snaps over the course of his career.

Good player, but he's drinking the same water that every other good Bengals player seems to be.

Jackson hurt in 3 out of 4 years now, and only 2 career INT.
Lawson dropped in the draft due to injury concerns, and keeps getting hurt, not able to hold up to an entire game of snaps.

Couple years back they were looking like bright building blocks for the next good Bengals D.

Cedric Ogbuehi was a 1st round pick who was already hurt.
Billy Price was a 1st round pick who was already hurt.


Then you add in Price having a 2nd round projection and being taken in the 1st. Sample having a 4th round projection and being taken in the 2nd.

They traded down and took Zeitler instead of DeCastro. (Bengals used the extra pick on Brandon Thompson, Chandler Jones was the player taken in the original pick spot.)
They traded down and took Joe Mixon instead of Dalvin Cook. (The Bengals used the extra pick on Josh Malone.)

Their drafting is just a mess. It's what happens when you have no scouts and no GM.
