8 games in a row is the record for a losing streak in the same season and it wasn't in the infamous 1990s!

It happened twice and both times by Marvin Lewis.

We lost 10 games in a row in 2010...or is this about starting 0 and ____?

Bengals started 0-10 in ‘93

That's right.

The article counted the streak at 11 counting the last game in 1992.

So Zac has 3 more games to win one before he takes the crown of 11.

Not counting preseason games.

Look at the article again.

2010 was 8.

They did lose 10 in a row that year. The article was written during the streak.

What am I missing here?  2010 we went from 2-1 to being 2-11 and that is 10 losses in a row.

EDIT - I see someone pointed out the article was written after 8 losses of the 10 game losing streak.

I heard one of the beat guys tell Mo Egger that if Taylor lost every game up until the bye week in 2020, they might just fire him, lol.

I was going by the article but this is very clear.

10 is the record.

Zac has 3 games to keep from breaking it!
