Jay Gruden - uticabengalfan - 11-10-2019 Would anyone mind seeing Jay come back as head coach? I dont think the Taylor experiment is gonna go as planned. He is solely responsible for the clowns on this staff and there inept ability to coach. It appears maybe the grass isnt always greener on the other side RE: Jay Gruden - Fan_in_Kettering - 11-10-2019 Jay Gruden? Head coach? Absolutely not. Offensive coordinator? Yes. I would even take Hue Jackson back as offensive coordinator. RE: Jay Gruden - Bronze Bengal - 11-10-2019 I wouldn't be opposed to Jay coming back. He was able to make chicken salad out of chicken feed with The Redskins, but it will be like the Lewis years, constant mediocrity. Granted it would be better than out and out horrible like this season. RE: Jay Gruden - Shake n Blake - 11-10-2019 Probably better than Taylor, but we can do better than Jay Gruden. Then again, maybe not. RE: Jay Gruden - THE PISTONS - 11-10-2019 Jay would have then been HC for the 2 most dysfunctional owners/organizations in the NFL. Honestly, no one will have prolonged success here. It's futile being a fan. RE: Jay Gruden - Nati#1 - 11-10-2019 I'd bring him back as head coach RE: Jay Gruden - Nati#1 - 11-10-2019 I'd really like to have mike Zimmer back. RE: Jay Gruden - BengalsRocker - 11-10-2019 Yes, I'd bring him back as the HC. I'd also bring back Hue as OC. Fire most if not all of the staff. Hire Del Rio if he wants the job. Then let them pick young staff and minds to work under them. That's stability and knowledge with future hopefuls on staff. Of course I'd fire Tobin but that's probably the least likely of the above. Zimmer is too brash and outspoken. Look at the guys he hires. They have passive personalities and don't rock the boat. They like guys they can control. That's not Zimmer.
