Renell Wren injury - pally - 08-19-2020
The good news is that it is not an ACL. The bad news is a significant quad injury possibly requiring surgery which would mean it is potentially season ending
#Bengals DT Renell Wren suffered a significant quadriceps injury in practice Monday, per source. He's seeking a second opinion before deciding whether to have surgery, which likely would be season-ending. Another blow to Cincy D.

Depends on if it's a tear, the type of tear, etc. If they're talking potential surgery, I'm guessing possible detachment involving tendon.

A quad tendon tear is what Gerald McCoy just suffered and led to him being cut by the Cowboys the next day

No doubt. Daniels is one heck of a player and he said in the best shape of his career. Great pickup.
But he is more of a 3-tech like Geno. Need a run stopper to back up Reader after the Wren injury.
