Jim Turner comments - Nicomo Cosca - 10-01-2020 This guy is absolutely delusional. <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8">
RE: Jim Turner comments - Yojimbo - 10-01-2020 He also said the answer to the Oline problems is absolutely already on the roster. So yeah, the guy is delusional, inept and/or a gaslighter. RE: Jim Turner comments - Nicomo Cosca - 10-01-2020 Hart has given up 15 pressures through 3 weeks. Most in the NFL. If this is “his best” I’d hate to see his worst... RE: Jim Turner comments - Tony - 10-01-2020 Can we get rid of both these arsholes now? RE: Jim Turner comments - Tony - 10-01-2020 If the answer is already on the roster, what are we doing letting Burrow get destroyed at an alarming rate? RE: Jim Turner comments - HarleyDog - 10-01-2020 Here’s an article from SI addressing his comments. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/news/jim-turner-defends-bobby-hart Disappointing to see he is not worried about Bobby. If your not worried about Bobby, then your not worried about the health of JB. RE: Jim Turner comments - Gdale_Bengal - 10-01-2020 Playing the best turnstile of his career. Good job Bobby shart RE: Jim Turner comments - Nicomo Cosca - 10-01-2020 Guess we can scratch RT off our draft wishlist. Apparently we’re all set! RE: Jim Turner comments - BacknDaDey - 10-01-2020 If this doesn't tell Taylor that Turner is out of his mind and needs to go then the Bengals are in trouble. Taylor is just as delusional. Remember, all the hits Joe is taking are either “overblown” or his own fault. You're right! Let me take it up a notch. If it doesn't show the Front Office and Ownership that Taylor and Turner are out of their mind. RE: Jim Turner comments - bengalfan74 - 10-01-2020 Just incredible, I'm just at a loss for words. RE: Jim Turner comments - Au165 - 10-01-2020 Hart and Jonah are actually graded about the same by PFF and are both considered right around average to just slightly below average starting tackles. It is really the guards who are getting us completley killed right now. Even if you hate PFF it's not like Turner is the only one who thinks there are bigger issues on our line than Bobby Hart. RE: Jim Turner comments - Big Boss - 10-01-2020 Stunning. RE: Jim Turner comments - Gdale_Bengal - 10-01-2020 Don’t worry gang! This offseason will be a doozy with our premier signing of John Ross to a HUGE contract while signing another lineman who can’t stay off the injury list! RE: Jim Turner comments - Pat5775 - 10-01-2020 We’re f*****. For a very long time, apparently RE: Jim Turner comments - SunsetBengal - 10-01-2020 While defending his guy is exactly what Turner should be doing, at what point does he acknowledge that what he's teaching just isn't getting through? If it were just Hart that would be one thing, but it's not. The entire OL is struggling to execute the most basic of blocks on both running or passing plays. You've got a top 10 pick in Jonah Williams out there who is looking overwhelmed at times. Jordan, who by all accounts is a physical beast, yet struggles to get any movement. Hopkins, who is a middling type at Center, who also can't move anyone off the ball. A complete revolving door at RG, the most basic of the OL spots. And then we have Mr. Workaholic, Bobby Hart. For all of the time and effort he puts in, yet he looks absolutely confused upon who to block? That's not the players, that's a failure in the coaching department. RE: Jim Turner comments - Murdock2420 - 10-01-2020 Just makes me laugh more every day RE: Jim Turner comments - Au165 - 10-01-2020 (10-01-2020, 09:12 AM)SunsetBengal Wrote: While defending his guy is exactly what Turner should be doing, at what point does he acknowledge that what he's teaching just isn't getting through? At what point do we just accept our personnel is bad? We have gone through Alexander, Pollack and now Turner and the line isn't getting any better. All different schemes, all different personalities....same results. He’s also given up 10 hurries. 2nd most of any OT in the league. It just happens our guards are also terrible. Price might be even worse than Ogbuehi honestly. This OL is an absolute disaster. At least Jonah has an excuse though, as it’s his first season of actually playing. |
