Jax Game, Game Ball - bfine32 - 10-04-2020 All around great game by the boys today and way to get our first win. Lot's of nominees for game ball; but just like Highlander, There can only be one: Joe Burrow: 25/36 for 300 yards, 1 TD, 92.4 passer rating Joe Mixon: 185 Total yards, 3 TDs Jordan Evans: Got 1 of everything, tackle, sack, INT, Jesse Bates: 10 tackles Randy Bullock: 4/4 XP 3/3 FG 15 points Alex Redmond: Obviously the glue that holds the Oline together RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Wes Mantooth - 10-04-2020 Has to be Joe Mixon. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - masonbengals fan - 10-04-2020 Several deserving candidates. But I went with Joe Mixon. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - leonardfan40 - 10-04-2020 Would love to give it to our rookie QB with a much deserved first win, but Mixon was the man today RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Nicomo Cosca - 10-04-2020 Easy choice. Mixon was a beast today. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - GreenCornBengal - 10-04-2020 Mixon no doubt, but shoutout to Boyd for keeping drives alive. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Synric - 10-04-2020 Joe Mixon with 3 Touchdowns won the day but it could have easily been Joe Burrow if not for a couple of bad gaffs. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - SunsetBengal - 10-04-2020 Obviously I voted Joe in the poll, what a day he had. However, I'd like to give an Honorable Mention to the OL, as a unit, for actually showing up today. They kept Joe B. mostly clean, and gave Joe M. some lanes to run through, nice job OL. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - ezekiel23 - 10-04-2020 Nice game. Not a perfect game, but, they needed this.Especially after 2 very close games and a tie.Joe Burrow deserves this.Glad for him. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Millhouse - 10-04-2020 Obviously Mixon with those numbers. But low key the o-line deserves it as well for allowing Mixon and Joe B to do what they did. (only because of how crap they were the first 3 games) RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - bengalfan74 - 10-04-2020 It was Joe for sure, Mixon that is. Maybe next game Sample will grow a pair and it'll be the other Joe ? RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Rubekahn29 - 10-04-2020 Went with Mixon, but whole O-line deserves cred. They usually get blasted but played a solid game. Not amazing, but solid. Big task next week against a much better Defense. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - bengaloo - 10-04-2020 Mixon got it for me but definitely a shout out to the OL and Redmond. He's a better blocker than Johnson or Price. Shame they couldnt see that "before" season started. Jim Turner.... What bad gaffs? RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - pally - 10-04-2020 just give it to Joe (s) RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - bfine32 - 10-04-2020 (10-04-2020, 05:32 PM)Wire22Wire Wrote: What bad gaffs? Hopkins hold Sample trying to catch with his facemask RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - CorpusChristiBengal - 10-04-2020 There was the Mixon we've been waiting for RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - BFritz21 - 10-04-2020 I give it to the entire offense. Burrow got his first win and played a hell of a game. Boyd had some nice catches. The other receivers were also solid. The line played their best game of the year and gave Burrow time to make plays and opened holes for Mixon. Mixon ran like a man possessed. Let's play with some confidence and build on this game! RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Synric - 10-04-2020 (10-04-2020, 05:32 PM)Wire22Wire Wrote: What bad gaffs? Hold that killed the Tyler Boyd TD that was barely a hold and the through the hands Sample Interception. RE: Jax Game, Game Ball - Nicomo Cosca - 10-04-2020 (10-04-2020, 05:32 PM)Wire22Wire Wrote: What bad gaffs? Sample letting a ball be taken away from him that resulted in an INT instead of a TD. And a Hopkins holding penalty that negated a Boyd TD. |
