What was our lowest amount of sacks in a season? - Nicomo Cosca - 12-14-2020 Does anyone know what our lowest total for a season was? I couldn’t find it with a quick search, but I’d imagine the 15 we’re currently at, plus maybe a couple more the next 3 games would have to be right around the bottom. I know sacks didn’t officially become a stat until the 80’s, but were any of those 90’s teams worse at getting to the QB? This feels historically bad. That year, no player had more than 3.0 sacks, which was a tie between Ndukwe (safety), Odom (DE), and Thorton (DT). The very next year, Zimmer's defense doubled their sack total to 34 en route to a 10-6 record and sweeping the division. |
