Hey Fellow Bengals fans, One of my favorite things on this forum is reading preseason record predictions. Wondering what everyone thinks will be our finishing record now after the 5-2 start?
Week 8 Away- Jets
Week 9 Home- Browns
Week 10- Bye
Week 11 Away- Raiders
Week 12 Home- Steelers
Week 13 Home-Chargers
Week 14 Home-49ers
Week 15Away- Broncos
week 16 Home-Ravens
Week 17 Home- Chiefs
Week 18 Away- Browns
I'll say 11-6

Same prediction at 11-6. Before the season, I predicted 6 wins, 7 if things break the Bengals way. HAH! Would LOVE to sweep the Stealers, but I think sweeping the Browns or Ravens will be very tough.

We'll beat the Chiefs handily. Their offensive line can't stand up to our D line and their Defense gets no pressure. Burrow, with time, will carve them like a Thanksgiving Turkey.

10-7 is where I think they settle but 12-5 could be doable.

I predicted 11-6 before the season but we have already won 2 games I didn't think we would win on the road in
the Division and we get them in our place. I will add these 2 road wins to the 11-6 record then...

Week 9 Home- Browns- W (They're a mess)
Week 10- Bye
Week 11 Away- Raiders L (Although it would be amazing to win since I'll be in Vegas for the game!)
Week 12 Home- Steelers W They're falling apart and, for maybe the first time ever, I think they (Ben, specifically) will be intimidated coming into The Jungle!
Week 13 Home-Chargers L Herbert's so good and I think he carves up our secondary, but maybe they'll have jet lag coming from the West Coast
Week 14 Home-49ers W San Fran will be beat up by then and they won't be able to keep up with us since they'll be playing at 1 coming from the West Coast!
Week 15Away- Broncos W
week 16 Home-Ravens W We demoralized them in their place and they won't be able to get up for the game. Us, on the other hand, we'll be out for blood! Jackson will remember the beating in Baltimore and it will impact his play!
Week 17 Home- Chiefs- W They're a mess
Week 18 Away- Browns L but only because we're resting our starters
12-5!

That's 12-5. Seems kinda high, but that's what I feel when I look at the individual games. I predicted anywhere between 7-9 wins going in. A three game improvement on my original highwater mark would be a very solid season.

I thought we'd win 5 or 6 this year. Knock on wood, but we're playing with house money at this point.
New York knocked off Tennessee. We can't afford to read our own press clippings and lay a stinker Sunday. Need to man handle those chumps.

We're all feeling pretty good about our team right now, but I firmly believe that we should take this week by week. I know I rightly predicted we'd wax Detroit (with or without froggy Burrow) AND Baltimore, but there is a lot of season to be played. All I know is I just watched MNF with 2 QBs that looked like they wished they had Ja'Marr Chase... Honestly the game of football isn't as appealing without him playing in it.
