Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - SunsetBengal - 05-27-2022 In S.I.'s All Bengals, Ken Anderson feels like Cincinnati's improvement of the OLine is enough to make Joe Burrow much more relaxed and effective. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/allbengals-insiders-plus/ken-anderson-bengals-much-improved-following-offseason-additions Quote:Time is a lethal weapon in the game of football. The skill to maneuver time makes for some of the most exciting moments, including Ja’Marr Chase’s 72-yard touchdown catch and run in Week 17 against the Chiefs or Evan McPherson’s game-winning kicks throughout the 2021 season. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - bengalfan74 - 05-28-2022 "The best QB the Bengals ever had no question" pretty high praise from Kenny. And I feel JB has a very good chance to do just that. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - Nicomo Cosca - 05-28-2022 I love how much Kenny and Boomer believe in Joe. You can tell listening to them talk they aren’t just blowing smoke. This is true, I'm hoping that he will continue to establish a tradition of the Bengals being winners and always title contenders. Adding protection on the OL, as well as bolstering the rushing attack with stronger blocking should allow Joe to be even more calculating and deadly to opposing defenses. I'm realistic enough to understand why much of the football pundit community would view the Bengals recent Superbowl appearance as a fluke, on the heels of getting hot on a late season run. However, I am also smart enough to see that the team went to great measure to improve Joe's chances of getting the Bengals back into the Championship, as well. Oh yes, especially now. Joe Burrow will have better protection and Zac Taylor said they’re not blowing up the 2021 playbook and starting over again. The Bengals will keep the 2021 offensive playbook intact but add more plays to it. With better run blocking and improved pass protection the offense should be an unstoppable juggernaut. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 05-30-2022 I agree with Ken. Who knows how good Joe Burrow can be with a decent OL? I have no idea. He could be the best ever and I am not even kidding. He has it all, just needs to stay focused and keep growing. A running game sure will help him, the guys we brought in are stud run blockers. Big mean sumbitches. Just what I wanted to have in front of the Joe's. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - psychdoctor - 05-30-2022 To think this year will be Joe Burrow's first regular off season with the Bengals. In his first full season, Burrow took Bengals to Super Bowl. I think Burrow will light it up this year. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - Go Cards - 05-30-2022 Love Ken Anderson and agree with him completely RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - BFritz21 - 05-30-2022 (05-30-2022, 05:17 PM)Go Cards Wrote: Love Ken Anderson and agree with him completely He's only successful because I dated his daughter in grade school......... he owes it all too me RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - Wyche'sWarrior - 05-31-2022 Wait.....did Kenny say improved rushing performance would help out with the play action passing game? How can that be? I've seen that contradicted numerous times on here. I think that not being able to get a yard, when they needed to get a yard in the Superbowl really struck a nerve with both current and former members of the Bengals organization. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - XenoMorph - 05-31-2022 its cool to endorse an OLine before they have 1 practice in pads together lol But any improvement should help burrow for sure. RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - grampahol - 05-31-2022 Joe 'Sliced Bread' Burrow.. Every subsequent QB can only be the greatest thing since Sliced Bread.. You mean you weren't absolutely delighted and didn't even cheerfully get a refund? Hell no, I didn't get a refund. If anything it brough back bad memories of Superbowl XVI, where the Bengals failed to capitalize on 4 tries from 1st and goal on the 3.. We will see but with Karras, Cappa and Collins I think we might be damn near automatic now in these situations. That would be a breath of fresh air wouldn't it? Being able to just use our will power on DL's with our physicality... RE: Ken Anderson gives his endorsement - Nicomo Cosca - 06-07-2022
The GOAT and the future GOAT. Well, we thought we were automatic with Munoz, Montoya and company back then.. There's also that part about seizing the moment, rising to meet the challenge of your rivals, etc. |
