Pitt knew all along he was going to play. I wonder about that. I think they would have prefered to win the game without him in and give him that extra weeks rest. But I agree if things got bad and Landy crapped the bed they were ready to throw Ben in to try and avoid another divisional loss. And I think that's more Tomlin being desperate than him being smart. Because while I enjoy the new, more aggressive Tomlin as coach I don't think it would be this way without the couple bad losses earlier in the season. RE: Ben Roethlisberger: Greatest QB performance of all time - StoneTheCrow - 11-16-2015 Pretty impressive. I'm surprised his leg and foot issues aren't constantly being exacerbated due to having to carry around the weight of that giant head. Yeah, they had a good idea it was going to be necessary. RE: Ben Roethlisberger: Greatest QB performance of all time - BigPapaKain - 11-16-2015 Heh...Deadpool. RE: Ben Roethlisberger: Greatest QB performance of all time - yellowxdiscipline - 11-16-2015 Oh my god…. Here we go again.. You guys just keep slurping this shit up don't you. Ben's DNA is just dripping down your chins. Stubbed toes become foot sprains, and yet he makes himself again look like a Purple Heart awardee fighting back through injury and Nazi's to save the Steelers playoff hopes. I hope next time he jams a finger on someones helmet we don't have to amputate. It would have been quite the kick in the arse for the Cardinals if someone decided that a player, in full uniform, running down and even stepping onto the field during play was enough to nullify and penalize that play. It would have been funny if a Seahawks player lit him up and claimed that he looked like he was participating in the play. I mean, it's funny, but geez. Technically he was outside the white stripe and didn't go on the field until the play was past him. Only coaches in the AFCN seem to have a problem with knowing where they are suppose to stand... And only one of them hurt their own team.
