We struggle to run and protect Burrow. And a good amount of time, receivers aren't open.

It seems to be implying that  our sluggish first halves are because other teams adjust to the Bengals before the game, or at least come up with a new game plan during the week before they play, whereas the Bengals assume something during the week and then adjust at half-time. 

These sluggish first halves are so aggravating. We know they will come back in the second half, but really don't understand why the game plan going into the games are so poor.
