Oct 18, 2011- Carson Palmer was traded to the Oakland Raiders thus ending his 4-month holdout.
That trade turned into Dre Kirkpatrick, the man who began a long string of injured and underachieving 1st round picks and Giovanni Bernard who despite a good career and much-loved status never turned into that full-time player you hope to get in the 2nd round. Gio did do significantly better than the player the Bengals chose with their own pick-Margus Hunt
