My Guys 2023 Draft - Emeritus - 10-22-2022 ![]() These are just risers throughout the season. Jacoby Windom LB/ Edge Michigan State https://youtu.be/THt6AD9NuMs Look this transfer up from UNLV that ended up at Michigan State. Micha Parsons changed the game! Rashee Rice WR SMU https://youtu.be/KTQiDdVCD44 Good wideout & potentially Great second round pick! Jaylin Wyatt WR Tennessee https://youtu.be/Imfl_N9WgKo Now I will admit I had to do some homework on this kid. What you'll find is a big rangy wideout that can find the football and run away from defenders. I'll get into the route tree and other things later but he'll need to be drafted in round one. Steve Avila LG/C TCU https://youtu.be/B9kLjAAq7Bg Just a powerhouse of an interior presence! We'd love him in round two or three for Cincinnati. I absolutely love his versatility on the interior!!!!!!! Christian Gonzalez CB Oregon https://youtu.be/ekFjWU6o9YA Easily one of my favorite players in the upcoming draft. A guy that transferred after a few decent seasons at Colorado. I love his movement for a bigger cornerback and his unorthodox ability to be in position to make plays. I believe he'll be a 4.5 type but he has shutdown ability at the next level and would be quite the player to pair w/ CTG. Isaiah Foskey DE Notre Dame https://youtu.be/C1Zna34-Y_k Untapped talent is what I call this prospect! I'm a huge ND fan so I've watched him develop since day one into a great prospect with huge upside. Once he figures it all out with his hands and leverage then the you'll have a double digit sack type. Late first riser. *A couple of unheralded linebackers that I like* Daiyan Henley LB Washington State https://youtu.be/4yTwV-fs0F8 A true force in the middle of a defense that plays with aggression. The drops in the passing game will need work but a solid prospect coming out. RE: My Guys 2023 Draft - bfine32 - 10-29-2022 I've liked the TE from UC for a couple years RE: My Guys 2023 Draft - Truck_1_0_1_ - 10-30-2022 (10-29-2022, 07:08 PM)bfine32 Wrote: I've liked the TE from UC for a couple years So have I. 3rd or 4th round, Whyle would make a great pick. Thanks for the name Truck, Bfine just says that kid from somewhere sometimes and I have no clue who he is talking about especially a Cincy player now that they aren't as good, and I won't be able to watch them as much. Whyle eh, is it spoken like Wylie or While? RE: My Guys 2023 Draft - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 12-12-2022 I did one of the mocks, and those things are sooo unrealistic. The problem with the draft simulators is they focus heavily on team needs, and will often "reach" for players for the other teams, allowing a lot of good talent to fall to you. I know that teams do reach occasionally in the draft which allows some good players to fall, but these simulators have it happen way more frequent than it should. Personally, I've found these draft simulators even less realistic than just going down a big board and picking players listed around the pick the Bengals have. And once you ID the guys that are underrated severly (Weatherspoon, Van Ness, Mauch, etc) you can really game them. The one where Carter was there at #26 was hilarious, though. The other is that they follow their own ratings, which you can see. When you see Witherspoon rated at #115, I know I can get him Rd 3. Whereas if I'm picking blind, I take him Rd1. Did one each of the 3 big ones, they were all unrealistically good.
