Jared Fogel Sentenced - SunsetBengal - 11-19-2015

Jared Fogel, of former Subway commercial fame, convicted of child pornography and having sex with underage kids.  Judge ignored plea agreement, and threw the book at him.  Good for her, good for the kids he molested.

I'd like to see more situations where the wealthy guy doesn't get a reduced sentence because of a plea deal. Irritates me a lot when it happens knowing someone without the money to afford a high dollar lawyer would end up with the shaft for something that is oftentimes less serious. That being said, it could have been a lot worse for him.

So they are claiming he "suffered" from "mild pedophilia" after losing all that weight? What the hell is "mild pedophilia"? Glad to see the asshole got 15 years.

I guess the judge thought that was a weak argument, as well.

However, the pedophile thought that he was going to get 5, with mainly probation.  The judge gave him 15+, with lifetime supervision.  Kudos to that judge.

He paid his soon to be ex wife $7M and the kids. While also paying his victims $1.4M each. DA wanted twelve years but defense attorney wanted five. Judge says that 15 and a half years over in the way Jared says, he has wanted to have sex since he was eight years old. And that he would not be eligible for parole until 13 years has passed.

Seen he was in the news just a few days ago. When i was channel surfing and skipped into Nancy Grace, she was saying that He and his attorney asking the judge for mostly probation.

I would never, ever advise anyone to watch Nancy Grace, and use that as a source of any credible information..
