The beers flowed and confetti poured on the champions as they moved to the beat of their own drum. I guess KC didn't see drunken Tom Brady and plastered Gronk in the Tampa Boat parade celebration..... ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Drunken Chiefs taking local heat..... - CJD - 02-21-2023 "These players were happy and that makes me ANGRY!" Honestly, the way someone presents themselves after a victory is just as important as how they present themselves in a loss IMO. Barkley also went on to say that parents should raise their children to emulate them as role models, and not athletes and celebrities. I'm familiar with the quote and I'm not disagreeing with him. Parents should be the role models, but we all know athletes are much cooler than parents. I just think it's a foolish thing to say by him. Obviously as adults we all know better, but not so much kids and especially adolescents. Obviously as adults we all know better, but not so much kids and especially adolescents. This is true. However, those athletes are still actual humans with personalities and emotions. If I was a young man who had just won a World Championship, you'd better believe that I'd have been celebrating myself silly, and not giving a care as to what anyone else thought of my behavior in that moment. |
