Crippled News Network's 2023 Mock Draft 1.0

Hoping we cut Mixon or restructure and sign Elliot regardless.

1. Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame

Baby Gronk will take our offense to the next level. He's the most well-rounded tight end in the draft and will occupy the middle of the field, making defenses choose to leave him covered by a backer or leave Chase single covered.

2. Dawand Jones OT Ohio State

He's only a right tackle but that's all we need and, AT 6'8, 374, he'll be a hell of a tackle since he's become lighter on his feet since last season. A guy that size with even decent feet will be Burrow's wet dream. He'll at least provide competition with Carmen and have a year to improve if he's not ready yet.

3. Byron Young DE/OLB Tennessee
If this dude were a bit bigger, he'd be ranked a lot higher. He's a hell of an athlete and will be able to beat tackles on the outside. If he can add weight in an NFL weight program without losing speed or athleticism (big if), he'll be a hell of a player.

4. Tyler Lacy DL Oklahoma State
Powerful defender that can control gaps in the run game and stuff gaps. He needs work in the NFL for pass rush and even improvement in the run game but he has potential.

5. Evan Hull RB Northwestern
Small back at 5'11, 209 but runs hard and is a good receiver.

6th Round: Adam Korsak P Rutgers - Hopefully we won't need him much but field position is important.

7th Round: Tre Tucker WR/RS Cincy -Could be good in the slot and provide some competition for punt returns.

Thoughts?
